From CPR, first aid and automated external defibrillator (AED) training to injury prevention courses, bloodborne pathogens training and community disaster education, you can team up with the most trusted name in health and safety training for nearly a century - the American Red Cross.

The Gibson County Chapter of the American Red Cross training offers complete, flexible programs that help you, your family and your community stay prepared for virtually any life-threatening situation. Build the program that works for you using our modular curriculum. Ask our Health and Safety Department about customizing one of these programs to meet you needs by calling (812) 386-6300. We offer three different types of training: ONLINE TRAINING, INSTRUCTOR-LED TRAINING AND WORKPLACE TRAINING.

Online Training: CPR/AED/FIRST AID training that is completed online and in the classroom through a skill assessment. This route is ideal for computer literate individuals, who can not always find the necessary time to take the formal instructor-led training.

Instructor-Led Training: CPR/AED/FIRST AID training that is provided in a classroom with an instructor helping to guide your lifesaving skill practice. This is the more conventional route of training and ideal for those who learn better from one-on-one attention.

Workplace Training: CPR/AED/FIRST AID training that is provided on site for area companies and employers to help train individuals to save a life. All of our courses are OSHA approved and can help ensure if disaster strikes on your job site your employees are trained to respond.
